My Color Crush Binder by Webster's Pages arrived today! Yeah!! I've been struggling for a long time with the lack of structure in our household. There are lots of explanations for why we were in this state of existence, but the important factor right now is that, I knew it needed to change . . . so I decided to change it. |
I'm not planning a wedding, but I do manage a household of 11, operate/manage two home businesses, homeschool, and yes, even find time to breathe once in a while. That breathing is easier, however, if I'm not losing track of when that is supposed to happen! LOL
Enter Color Crush Personal Planner!
Being organized is a necessity. Having it pretty is a balm to the soul and refreshment to the spirit! I really wanted to order the Light Teal Kit and have dividers and pages all ready to go out of the box, but alas, this was not to be. I'm late to the party, so I had to settle for just the binder. I knew I could design and print pages for this planner, since I've been making my own letter size family planner for several years, the problem was, which graphics to use. Then I remembered the 'Already There' digital scrapbooking kit by Violet Irisovna.
I love this kit! I'm working on Life Study pages, (Bible Study and Journaling pages), using this kit, and decided it would also work very well for this planner, so I went to work.
Weekly Pages and 3x4 task/encouragement cards
The filler pages also include lists, note pages, inspiration pages, and memory keeping pages. I printed these on 22# paper, double sided, at half letter size and then trimmed to fit.
The second file is the task and encouragement cards, created as 3x4, sized to print at 4x6, (two to a card). This is fairly easy for me to handle since my Epson printer has a setting for 4x6 photos. I'm printing the task cards, (water tracker, daily to do list, daily meals, 7 etc.) on 22# paper, since these are disposable, and encouragement cards on card stock, since I will move these in and out of my binder and reuse them.
Dividers and stickers
So what are my divider titles?
- My Week
- Note It
- List It
- Be Inspired
- Making Memories
The stickers are made with various elements, papers and etc. from the kit. I'm going to print these on 22# paper and run them through my Brother LX-570 sticker machine. (Love that thing!)
The colors in this kit are an absolutely perfect match for this Light Teal binder. I'm already feeling more positive about all the 'things' I have to do, and how I now have a pretty place to track them.
Hello Life! Goodbye Chaos!
All because of my Color Crush! ;)
